HISTORY:
- 14 Acre Parcel Purchased in 1997
- Envisioned 4 phase development
- Phase 1 (1.6 acres) developed in 2000
- Cemetery opened for burial in March 2000
- Cemetery location: 6330 Eagles Nest Road, off Jackson Road
CEMETERY MANAGEMENT and OPERATIONS:
- 9 Member Board of Trustees
- Day to Day Operations Managed by Essop Khan
- Contractor for Grave Opening and Closing
- Contractor for Landscaping
BURIAL PROCESS :
- Body to be picked up from home or hospital
- Paperwork, ie Death Certificate & Burial Permit
- At Present Ghusal Facility is at Muslim Mosque V Street
- After Ghusal body remains at Muslim Mosque for Salat e Janaza
- Or is transported to Masjid Annur for Salat e Janaza
- Normally Paperwork and Transportation is done by one company
- Body is then transported to Cemetery for Burial
- Outside Company does the Paperwork and Transportation
- The Cemetery only provides the grave, opening and closing
BURIAL COST :
- Grave site: $500 for Greater Sacramento Residents and $2000 for Outside Sacramento County
- Opening and Closing: $1000
- Transportation and Paperwork between $750 - $1300 without coffin
- Family to provide Kaffan and other essentials for Ghusal
STATISTICS:
- Total grave sites in Phase 1 is 1100 (Section A-D)
- Approximately 140 graves have been used in Section A
PLANS:
- Provide ALL the services in ONE location
- PHASE 11 Building Plans are being drawn
- CONSTRUCTION to begin as soon as Total Building Costs are raised

- Prayer Hall and Courtyard
- Cold Storage Room
- Office
- Caretakers Quarters
